The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face Effect Pedal is a faithful recreation of the fuzz pedal the guitar legend used to launch an incredible array of revolutionary sounds, styles, and songs. Dunlop went through several vintage Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face units, picking a select few and closely examining them for accurate reproduction. As a result, this Jimmy Hendrix Fuzz Face stays true to the best of the originals, including a handwired circuit board, original-style circular housing and knobs with a turquoise hammertone finish. Now you can get a piece of legendary tone-shaping power with the Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face. An authentic reproduction. Unlike most guitarists of his day who were content to simply amplify the sound of their instruments, Hendrix actively sought out new tools to turn his guitar tones into malleable shapes that could range from chiming bells to roaring beasts to otherworldly sheets of sound. Distortion was a big part of his arsenal, and the Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face gave him the firepower. The Hendrix Fuzz Face is built around the toneful BC108 silicon transistor. It is authentic in every detail - a handwired brown circuit board with no solder mask and circuitry carefully matched to the original specs. The look is 100% accurate too - that groovy circular chassis with tooled clones of the original Fuzz Face knobs in the rare and vintage turquoise hammertone finish.
