The Earthquaker Devices Tusk Fuzz Pedal is not based in the world of silicon or germanium designs--it uses an opamp with mosfet clippers. This is what gives the Tusk its bright, clear tone that always cuts through the mix.

The knobs on the EarthQuaker Devices Tusk Pedal are pretty self explanatory. Fuzz and Level are exactly what they say, but the EarthQuaker Devices Tusk Pedal’s fuzz control is where the difference lies. The Tusk has an ability go from a crisp overdrive to a full on fuzz distortion that cuts unlike any fuzz you have heard. Its ability to work well with humbuckers, single coils and even bass make the EarthQuaker Devices Tusk Pedal great for studio use.
