Fat Tone Guitars – A Guitar Store and Website with a Difference Guitars, amps and effects are our passion. We sell the best we can find and we service them too. Our customers include professional musicians and weekend warriors, and we have some products for beginners too. We’re especially proud of our special built, custom and limited edition products. Come back often as we’re adding new gear all the time. We’ll do our best to help you find the perfect guitar, bass, amp or effect to help you express that sound you hear in your head. We’re always in the market to buy and trade guitars, so you can trade the guitar you have for the guitar you MUST HAVE! Our products are tested in our own showroom/warehouse in Northbrook, IL. To see pix of our showroom click here. Orders for products in stock are shipped promptly. Customers with special orders or who order out-of-stock items are kept advised of their order status. Orders of $199 or more and effects pedals qualify for free UPS ground shipping (with occasional exceptions). No sales tax is charged on products shipped outside of Illinois. What is your Shipping Policy?
Fat Tone offers Free Shipping for many orders of $199 or more to the lower 48. Pre-Owned items are usually not shipped free. Standard shipping to the lower 48 is USPS Priority Mail or UPS ground. Faster shipping is available for most products. In stock items are shipped within 24-48 hours of completion of your order. Customers with special orders or who order out-of-stock items are kept advised of the order status. Most effect pedals qualify for Free Shipping in the lower 48. No sales tax is charged on products shipped outside of Illinois.

What is your Return Policy?
Fat Tone Guitars wants you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your new guitar, amp or effect, please notify us within 7 days for return authorization. All returned items must be received by us within 30 days from the date of original sale. Once your item is returned to Fat Tone Guitars, we'll refund your payment, less any shipping charges. The returned item must be in the same condition as purchased, with the same container and packing material and any warranty card and owners manual. Refund will be applied, less shipping charges, in the same manner that payment was made. In addition, a legible copy of the shipment document must be included. Failure to observe any of these conditions may result in a restocking fee of 15%. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns of pre-owned or vintage items. Thank you for your understanding.
