The TC Electronic Dark Matter Distortion is an all new distortion that promises to deliver the crunch, scream, and sustain of the early Plexi in a compact, rugged design. The Dark Matter is ready to deliver on all ends of the distortion spectrum with controls over Gain, Level, Bass, and Treble as well as a Voicing switch that changes the bass response from vintage to modern. This allows the TC Electronic Dark Matter Distortion to cover a myriad of distortion tones. The Gain control starts at almost clean and smoothly adds gain and character to the tone, all the way to face melting rock and metal. Used in conjunction with the Voicing switch, the Dark Matter Distortion can get the best of vintage crunch, 80’s rock, or modern heavy metal. Utilizing the Bass and Treble controls can yield even more tonal control than most pedals dream of offering. The TC Electronic Dark Matter Distortion is an all analog circuit with true bypass and housed in a rugged, compact design that will withstand the stage night after night.
