St. Blues Miss Bmstr P90 Black

On Order - Coming Soon
Manufacturer: St. Blues Guitars

Way down deep in the South, there's a place where some people claim that it all started. From the eerie legend of Robert Johnson and the Crossroads to the birth of the Hill Country Blues, the North Mississippi Delta has spawned some of the greatest blues legends in history and a sound all its own.
With these rich, swampy sounds in mind, St. Blues has taken their coveted Bluesmaster to a place that some may find it impossible to come back from. A shorter 24 3/4 inch scale length body and neck, crafted from mahogany and topped with an Indian Rosewood slab fretboard, produces a deep, bottom end never before heard from a Bluesmaster. In this model they have combined all this with dual vintage P-90s for a cool sweet sting.

Best Guitar under $1000 available, IMHO

I have been an avid player and collector for a decade or so and I am always a quantity over quality guy - basically, I'd rather have a dozen good guitars than 2-3 great ones. The Bluesmaster with P90s is the best guitar I have ever seen for the money, bar none.
I have had several Strats & Teles, Epis and various boutique/rare guitars for this type of price and none are even close to this guitar in quality, sound and playability.
Hands down one of the prettiest guitars I own (I have the Violin FMT) So cool looking. Looks like a Gibson Blueshawk. It's an interesting hybrid of a LP shape with a Tele size and layout.
The neck is pretty much perfect shape, not to skinny, but not baseball-bat thick and super fast with great sustain and balls.
The pickups are UNREAL, huge output (even for a P90) and amazing range. I can get pure Tele twang and really rich fat tones. I don't think there is as versatile a guitar out there with such a simple set-up (2 P/Us, Volume, Tone and 3-way). Great.
This is definitely the rugged work-horse, gig-ready axe I would expect to pay 2-3 times as much for. It's a steal for the price and I can't see anything that could go wrong on it since it's so simple and well-built. Tuners are some of the best I have seen and the things holds tune perfectly despite huge bending or rough play.
This would be a guitar that wouldn't let you down and if you are a younger player looking to invest in a great axe that you can get a lot of years out of, this is definitely that axe - WAY better than any Fender of similar price or Gib/Epi that you could find....plus, it's different and cool, and that's what it's all about.
